Inaprubahan ng House of Representatives appropriations committee sa loob ng dalawang minuto ang proposed budget ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) sa susunod na taon.
Personal na dumalo sa budget hearing si Vice Pres. Leni Robredo. Ayon kay Davao City Rep. Karlo Nograles, agad nilang inaprubahan ang proposed budget bilang respeto sa Bise Presidente.
Sa isang ambush interview, ipinaliwanag ni Robredo ang P443.946 million proposed budget ng kanyang opisina. Mas mataas ito ng 3.58 percent mula sa approved 2017 budget na P428.618 million.




Nagpasalamat din si Robredo sa malaking tiwala sa kanya ng mga kongresista.
Tradisyon na ng Kamara na agad na aprubahan ang budget proposals ng OVP at ng Office of the President.
